I’m Paul Saunders, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. I photograph people who are visiting the area or choosing it as a special place to be photographed, including couples, families and individuals.
Much of my work takes place around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, with people travelling here from elsewhere in Scotland and beyond. I also photograph weddings and portraits across Scotland when required.
My approach is calm and people-focused, which works especially well for those who feel a little camera-shy. I focus on candid moments, gentle direction and letting things unfold naturally, so the experience feels relaxed and enjoyable.

I photograph natural portrait sessions for couples, families and individuals, often for people visiting Loch Lomond and the Trossachs or travelling here because of the setting. Sessions take place outdoors, at holiday accommodation, or in locations that feel meaningful.

Wedding Photography in Scotland
I photograph weddings across Scotland, with much of my work centred around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.
My wedding photography is storytelling-led, combining natural portraits with candid moments as the day unfolds. I work quietly and without unnecessary interruption, so couples can enjoy their day while I capture the atmosphere, emotion and detail.
From outdoor lochside ceremonies to city weddings, I adapt my approach to suit the setting and the people rather than forcing a formula.

Portrait Photography
I offer relaxed portrait photography for couples, families and individuals, often for people visiting Loch Lomond and the Trossachs or choosing the area as a special place to be photographed.
Sessions take place outdoors, at holiday accommodation, or in locations that feel meaningful and comfortable. I regularly photograph visiting groups, extended families, milestone moments and portraits simply to mark time together. Pets are very welcome.
Commercial Photography for Businesses and Charities
Alongside weddings and portraits, I also work on commercial photography projects for businesses and charities across Scotland.
I photograph teams, accommodation, food and drink, tourism experiences, events and behind-the-scenes activity. Because I also run a marketing consultancy, I understand how photography is actually used across websites, social media, press coverage and funding applications.
Many of these projects are based around Loch Lomond and the Central Belt, but I work across Scotland when required.
