Here Comes the Bride
Here are some of the fantastic brides I have had the pleasure of photographing in recent years. Although my job is to capture a series of beautiful natural portraits throughout the day, every bride looks fantastic, and I want her, along with her family and friends, to have pictures to cherish. My main job is to help her and everyone being photographed to feel relaxed and comfortable.
Precious Wedding Moments
Every moment of the wedding day is precious, and the top of my mind is wanting to let the day flow naturally, not letting the photography get in the way. So all portraits are taken very quickly, which helps remove any nerves in front of the camera.
Lovely Detail
You’ll see a variety of bridal photographs here. Sometimes a distant view shows the entire dress and wedding location. Other times it’s in close to get the incredible detail of the dress or hair.
Bridal Portraits
Throughout the wedding day, I’ll capture a mixture of compositions. Sometimes straight onto the camera, or ones where it looks like a candid, plus the genuine candid!
I always want to make sure there are the following compositions:
Head & Shoulders,
Three quarter length
Full length
Back for detail
The Wedding Venue
I think it’s essential to ensure that the photography reflects the time of year and the venue chosen for the wedding.
Bridal Preparations
The getting ready photographs are always good fun.
More Examples
Thanks to these wonderful brides, I hope you enjoy the photographs. Plus the many more that I didn’t have space to feature (this time!).
